Thank you for your interest in the 37th annual Sumner Arts Festival. It is always a pleasure to welcome new artists. This year the Festival will be held on Friday, August 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Booth fee is $125.00 and commission is 10% over $300.00 in sales. Booths are assigned on a first come first served basis. Artist will be given a $45.00 rebate for each new artist they recommend, who are accepted and complete the festival. 

Please read the following entry requirements carefully:
Screening Criteria:  The work of all prospective entrants must be screened. 
All items must be handcrafted and designed by the artists, not from kits or component parts or purchased for resale, or a process of mass production.

How to Screen: Screenings are held the last Friday of each month beginning in February and ending in June. They are held at the Bank of America on the corner of Main St. and Alder Ave. in Sumner, WA. During regular banking hours (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday). Please bring no more than four samples of each category of work. Be sure each is labeled with your name, address, and telephone number. Your artwork will remain at the bank until Monday, as the screening committee meets over the weekend. You may pick up your work anytime the following week during regular banking hours. A notification letter will be with your work.

If you are unable to screen in person, you may submit four photographs or a CD of photos, along with your name, address, and a description of your craft, with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

The Sumner Arts Festival reserves the right to determine the feasibility of all entries and refuse those that are not acceptable before and during the festival.  Booth cancellations will be accepted until June 1 with a full refund. After June 1, we do not refund booth fees.

Booth hours are 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Saturday. Set up both days is 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Take down is only after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Security is provided Friday night, but it is advised that you remove any valuables for the night. The festival will assume no responsibility for any loss due to fire, weather, theft, or other damage which may occur.

The Sumner Arts Festival usually has around 100 booths. We are proud of the fine artists who come to share their talents with us. We are looking forward to meeting you and seeing your work. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to call.
